From 14th January 2019 we have a new provider of school meals, R.J. and R.B. Mailes of Ewyas Harold.
The full menu is now available (see below) and bookings need to be made through your Parent Pay account. Booking is available online for all school pupils and Pre-school children. We have had to review the costs due to the administration of meals and have decided that all paid meals will be £2.30, including Pre-school.
HOW TO BOOK
You will need to log in to your Parent Pay account and on the home screen you should see a blue bar under your child’s/children’s name(s) which says Make meal bookings (centre of page). This will take you through to the booking page for meals. You can then select the week you wish to book for and click on Make or view bookings. You can then select the main course and dessert from the days you wish to order for. A summary will appear at the bottom of the page detailing the cost (this will be 0.00 for UIFSM and FSM). Click on Confirm bookings and you are then taken to your basket where you can pay for the meals or add other items to your basket if you wish. From confirming your booking, you have two hours in which to pay for your meals. If meals are not paid for within this time, your booking will be cancelled. If you are ordering free school meals you will still need to make sure you confirm your booking so that the order is sent through to the kitchen.
Orders will need to be placed on Parent Pay by Thursday at midnight, when bookings will close so that numbers can be sent through to the meal providers promptly on Friday mornings.
If your child is unwell, when you call the school to let us know about their absence you will also need to let us know if you have ordered a meal for them. This needs to be before 9am so that we can contact the kitchen and ask for a credit for that meal. Unfortunately if we receive a message after this time we cannot guarantee to offer a credit.
